Y6 Crealy trip and overnight camp-out

Dear parents and carers

We are delighted to announce that Year 6 will be going on their annual trip to the Crealy Theme Park and then camping out overnight at school this term.

What your child will need

Your child should wear non-uniform and bring:

  • Water bottle and snack for the morning
  • Packed lunch (this will be provided for children who have a lunch booked on MCAS)
  • Sunhat and suncream if the weather is hot
  • Raincoat if there is rain forecast
  • Spare clothes as listed below

Travel arrangements

We will be travelling by coach, and children must arrive in school by 8:45am at the latest. We will be arriving back to school around 5.30pm, where we will set up camp, have dinner and play some evening games.

The following morning children will stay at school for the day.  The day will be a fun day with activities organised for the children (they do not need to wear school uniform).  We will provide breakfast for them, but we ask that you drop a lunch in for them or order them a school dinner (we can store lunches in a fridge if you need to drop one in on Thursday for Friday).

We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £30 per child, which will be payable via MCAS. This contribution covers the cost of the coach and ticket entry into Crealy. Please log in to the MCAS app in order to consent to your child going on this trip. If we do not get enough contributions, the trip may have to be cancelled, so please do come and talk to us if payment is going to present a problem for you. If we do not have your consent, your child will not be able to join Year 6 class on this trip.

Below is a kit list of things you will need. If you have any queries or questions, please contact us.

Yours faithfully
