Breakfast Club
We run a Breakfast Club from 8.15am each morning: this is free of charge but must be pre-booked through the MCAS app in order for children to attend.
We would like to draw a couple of safety considerations to parents’ attention:
- It is important that we know how many children to expect, so we can ensure that staffing levels are adequate to ensure the children’s safety. This is why we ask all parents to book breakfast club places in advance.
- Breakfast club opens at 8:15am – any parents arriving before that time remain responsible for their children and must wait with them until the doors open. There is no supervision in place for children who are left on the school site before 8:15am.
After-School Clubs
The school offers a number of after-school clubs each term (autumn, spring and summer), depending on staff availability. These clubs are free of charge. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and must be booked through MCAS; there is a waiting list for club places.
Unless otherwise advertised, all after-school clubs run from 3:15 to 4:15pm, and parents should collect their children from the main gate at 4:15pm.
- Children must attend club regularly. Children who have committed to a club are expected to attend every week, unless they have an illness or a medical appointment. If they do not attend regularly, they may have their place taken away and given to somebody on the waiting list.
- The school expects the same standards of behaviour as during school hours. Children who refuse to follow adult instructions or disrupt the club and spoil it for other children will be asked to leave.
Booking for these clubs has now closed on Parentmail, but enquiries about remaining places may be made to the school office.
