Transition Day – Tuesday 30 June 2026

Dear Parents and Carers

As we approach the end of the academic year, we are pleased to inform you that Tuesday 30^th June 2026 will be our official Transition Day at Minerva Primary School. This important day is part of our wider transition programme designed to support your child as they prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.

On Transition Day, all children from Reception to Year 5 will spend time in their new classrooms with a class teacher, to prepare for the 2026–27 academic year. This opportunity allows them to begin building relationships, become familiar with their new learning environment, and ease any anxieties they may have about the changes ahead. It is a key part of our commitment to ensuring that every child feels confident and excited about the year to come.

Please note that nursery children who are starting school in September will stay in nursery on this day, as they have their own transition timetable (Stay & Play sessions on 2^nd and 9^th July).

Throughout this academic year, our Senior Leadership Team has worked closely with executive members of the Cabot Learning Federation to ensure that our children have had a successful, enriching, and supportive experience. Their collaboration has helped us maintain high standards of teaching and learning, and we are proud of the progress our pupils have made.

We look forward to a positive and productive Transition Day and to continuing our strong partnership with you as we prepare for September.

Below, you will see the school structure for next academic year.

Please bring your child to and collect from school as per your normal arrangements. They will start and end their day in their current class.
