Freshly-cooked meals are prepared for our pupils in the kitchen of a local school and delivered to Minerva Primary School by Aspens catering company.
Key Stage 1 children (Reception to Year 2) are entitled to a free hot meal under the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme. Nursery and Key Stage 2 children (Years 3 to 6) can purchase these meals at a cost of £2.75 per day.
All meals should be booked and paid for in advance using the MCAS app. The deadline for ordering is the Wednesday of the previous week. Orders cannot be accepted on the day.
Should your child have any food allergies or intolerances, or require a special diet, e.g. kosher or halal, please complete and return the Alternative Menu Form.

If your child is, or you think they may be, entitled to free school meals, you should apply even if your child is already eating for free under the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme. The school office can help you if you have any difficulty with the application.
