Dear parents and carers
As part of our end-of-year celebrations, we are pleased to let you know that all children will have the opportunity to take part in a fun water fight with their peers on Monday 20 July.
This event has been chosen by our children through the work of the Pupil Parliament. Demonstrating the British Value of Democracy, representatives gathered views from across the school before holding a vote. The result was clear – the children of Minerva have voted, and they want a water fight!
To help children enjoy the event comfortably, they should come to school wearing their PE kit on the day.
Children are welcome to bring a small water pistol if they would like to take part. Please do not send large water guns or water balloons. There is no need to fill water pistols before arriving at school, as water will be provided by the school.

We are looking forward to ending the year with a memorable, enjoyable and well-deserved celebration for our children.
Thank you for your continued support.
Yours faithfully
