Dear parents and carers
Year 6 has been selected to take part in the BIG Read and Write, which brings pupils together from schools across our whole Trust.
The purpose of these sessions is to enjoy books together. This is a super opportunity for our pupils to work together with other students and improve their English skills. We will be video-calling Post-16 students who will read with enthusiasm whilst we follow the text on the screen.
These sessions will take place on Tuesdays after school, 3.15 – 4.15pm, from Tuesday 11 February until Easter, and will be run by Miss Bernard in The Mendips classroom. If you are happy for your child to take part, please sign and return the slip they have brought home from school (replacement copies available from the school office).
