Dear Reception Parents and Carers
On Tuesday 15th October, you are invited to attend a Phonics Information Meeting.
During the meeting, we will explain how reading and writing is taught through the Unlocking Letters and Sounds phonics programme and the ways in which we create a ‘literacy rich’ environment in Reception. It is also an opportunity for you to find out how you can help with your child’s learning at home.
The meeting will begin at 2.30pm and will take place in River Tone class. We anticipate it to run for about 30mins, with time for questions and an opportunity for you to look at some of our resources at the end.
