At Minerva Primary school, we believe all children are equally valued. Through our school’s ethos, mission statement, aims, policies, practices and provision, we strive to eliminate barriers to learning and to develop an environment where all children can flourish and feel safe. We are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve the highest of standards.
We pay particular attention to the provision of work meeting needs for all learners and the ongoing identification and achievement of specific targets.
At Minerva Primary school, every teacher is a teacher of SEND. Therefore, inclusion is a thread which runs through every area of the school, enhanced by collaboration between senior leaders, teachers, support staff, external agencies, parents and most importantly, the child.
We believe all children are unique individuals and at Minerva Primary school they are equipped to make progress so they achieve their best and become confident individuals who know the positive contribution they have to make to the world.
The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) at Minerva Primary School is Rachelle Billington. If you would like to speak to Rachelle Billington with regards to your child’s learning, please make an appointment via the school office.
