Dear parents and carers
The WPA Foundation charity has generously supported Minerva Primary School over the last few years with donations towards breakfast club and the purchase of books and play equipment for the school.
The charity is coming to the school on Tuesday 10 June to film some promotional footage in order to raise awareness of its work supporting schools. This will include some footage of breakfast club and of WPA volunteers reading to the Key Stage 2 classes (as they kindly did on World Book Day.)
WPA Foundation has asked for parents and carers to indicate their consent for children to be included in the footage by completing and returning a consent form. If your child is in Key Stage 2 or attends breakfast club, they will have been given a consent form to bring home with them.
If you do not return the consent form, even if you have already given the school permission to film your child, they will not be included in any of the footage captured by Autumn Films on behalf of the WPA Foundation.
If you are happy for your child to appear in this footage, please complete and return the consent form to the school office no later than 8:30am on Monday 9 June. (Replacement forms are available from the office if required.)
If you do not wish your child to appear in this footage, you do not need to do anything. Only children whose parents/carers have returned a consent form will be filmed.
