Dear parents and carers
From next September, CLF is moving us onto an app called My Child At School (MCAS) to do all the things we currently do on Parentmail: booking school dinners, booking clubs, paying nursery bills, etc.
The app will also be used for sharing information between school and home, for example:
As we all get used to it, we may be able to start using it for other things such as booking Parents’ Evening appointments.
In order to get everything up and running for you to start booking meals and breakfast club places in time for September, we are going to start setting up the app this term.
What do you need to do next?
You don’t need to do anything right now, but please keep an eye on your emails. After half term we will start sending out instructions on how to download the app to your phone and get signed in.
You can carry on using Parentmail to book meals etc. up to the end of this term.
We know that setting up and getting familiar with a new app can be a bit disruptive, but we will do everything we can to make the change as smooth as possible. As we start going through the process, please do feel free to come to the school office and ask for help – this will be a learning curve for all of us but we will do our very best to assist you where necessary!
