Christmas Dates

Dear parents and carers 

We have lots of exciting Christmas activities happening in the next three weeks, so here are some key dates for your diaries. 

Friday 6 December: Christmas Fayre 

Come along to the hall after school to enjoy some Christmas games and snacks, browse the stalls and visit Santa. Huge thanks to our wonderful POMS (Parents of Minerva School) for organising this fun event. 

Friday 13 December: KS1 Nativity Play 

River Tone, Quantock Hills and Hestercombe classes will be performing their nativity play in the church at 2:00pm. Parents and carers who have a child in these classes are warmly invited to attend.  

Please note that the usual rules about no photography or videos will apply.  

Pre-school children may attend, but if they become noisy you may be asked to take them outside, so as not to spoil it for other families and for our children who have worked so hard to prepare the performance. 

Thursday 19 December: Christmas jumper day, Christmas dinner and Carol Service 

1. Children may wear a Christmas jumper over their normal school uniform.  
2. Christmas dinner can be booked on Parentmail in the normal way – please try to book early, as the kitchen will appreciate knowing numbers well in advance. The final deadline for booking is Thursday 12 December. 
3. All parents and carers are invited to join us in the church at 2pm for our whole-school Carol Service. 

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the run-up to the Christmas holidays.
