River Tone / Quantock Hills Class Living Nativity Trip

Dear parents and carers

On Monday 2 December we are thrilled to be taking River Tone and Quantock Hills classes to an interactive living nativity experience called Journey to Bethlehem at Volis Farm, Cheddon Fitzpaine. The children will experience a taste of the very first Christmas, guided on their journey by a shepherd who will retell the Christmas story, finishing with a very special encounter in a stable. They will also get to meet and pet some of the animals on the farm.

This trip is completely free of charge. It will happen during the morning, and the children will be back in school in time for lunch as usual.

Children will need to bring:

• Wellies in a carrier bag;
• A warm coat (waterproof if the weather is wet);
• Hat and gloves.

Your child will have been given a permission slip to bring home: please sign and return the slip to give permission for your child to go on this trip. Copies are available from the school office.
